At Blackwood Music School we offer personal, one to one, professional music tuition in Voice, Guitar, Bass, Piano, Keyboard, Drums, Flute, Saxophone, Ukulele and Violin.

We are conveniently located to service, all suburbs in the southern beach and foothills area from Glenelg to Hallet Cove, Brighton to Blackwood, Marion to Happy Valley, Seacombe Gardens to Somerton Park, Eden Hills to Edwardstown, Seacliff to Sheidow Park and all surrounding areas.
A brief history of The Blackwood Music School
The Blackwood Music School began in 1991 in small premises on Main Road, Blackwood, South Australia, soon outgrowing this, it moved to 20 Coromandel Parade, Blackwood. In May 2006, the owner, Richard Squires, set about refurbishing the premises and expanding the services offered, to include: instrument and vocal tuition, instruments, equipment sales & hire, tutorials, group workshops, song writing & recording classes.
Under new Ownership / Management.
Richard Squires sold the school in January 2019 to local Adelaide guitarist /singer/songwriter, Peter Jenkins. BMus. University of Adelaide.
Peter Jenkins comes to the school with over 40 years of experience in the music industry as a performer, educator and musical instrument technician.
By the end of 2021 it became clear that the business required a sea change and a fresh start. The business relocated to 352A Brighton Road Hove.
